Pricing FAQs
Do I need to sign-up for a subscription right now?
No. You may subscribe now, but we offer a one-month free trial. Try it, you’ll like it!
What happens at the end of my trial?
Upgrade to a subscription if Homestart® is right for you. If not, there’s no need to cancel anything. Your account simply becomes inactive.
Do I need a credit card to sign-up for the trial?
No. Just an email address so we can send you the link to download information.
Is there a discount for full year plans?
Yes. As compared to the pricing of our one month or three month subscriptions, you can save 42% if you choose the yearly plan!
How does your pricing compare with other competing services?
Remarkably, there is nothing really else out there on the web that compares to HomeStart®. We are the only online, parent directed, customized to fit the academic year resource available to assist motivated parents with Early Childhood education. Of course, there are workbooks for parents to use (at places like Barnes &Noble), ranging in price from $24.99 to $34.99, but they don’t have detailed instructions geared toward parents working hands-on with their kids. There are also websites that contain materials intended for teachers, but these individual files do not amount to an organized program. Finally, there are full curriculum homeschooling programs available, but Homestart® is designed for a more specific role in parent-directed Early Childhood education. Homestart® may be used as part of a homeschooling program, but it is intended as a stand-alone enrichment resource that complements the classroom education of 4 – 7 year olds.
Do you provide a volume discount for large groups of students?
Yes. We’re happy to work with large groups of individuals on volume pricing. Please contact us at admin@homestartlearning.com for more details.
I have more questions. Who do I ask?
Write us at admin@homestartlearning.com or call us at 888-507-0939. We’d be happy to chat with you.
Free Trial FAQs
Why are you offering Homestart® for free?
We at Homestart® believe that all children learn differently and parents need to understand how a “parent-directed” program works, before committing to something new. Therefore, we think it is a good idea for parents try the materials with their child for a free trial month first, before committing to a subscription. Plus, we really believe that “word of mouth” is the best way to spread knowledge about the success of Homestart®; it’s easier to suggest it to friends and family if they too can try it for free!
Is the “free trial” really free?
Absolutely yes! We want as many people as possible to try Homestart® because we are confident that you too will see its amazing value.
Once I access the site with my free trial, what should I do?
The first thing for the parent to do is to download the Parent Guide. Review the Parent Guide for the month carefully. All 16 activities for the month are explained. You may decide to do all 16 activities; or, you may decide to be more selective based on the advice and insights provided in the Parent Guide. Regardless, we recommend that you download activities one at a time, rather than downloading all 16 immediately. Remember, the Parent Guide is your easy to follow “roadmap”. It’s really just that easy!

I’m interesting in subscribing to HomeStart Learning Solutions – how do I get it now?

Program FAQs
Is this a homeschool program?
Homestart® is styled as a “parent-directed” early childhood education program for ages 4 – 7. “Parent-directed” means that hands-on parent involvement is essential to achieve successful results. The Homestart® program was designed for motivated, proactive parents who want to take responsibility for developing basic reading, math and other skills at home. Parents review the detailed Parent Guide each month to understand how to effectively work with their child on each of the 16 monthly activities. Since Homestart® tracks the monthly themes typically presented in school, the Homestart® activities can be effectively utilized as an enhancement or complement to in class teacher-led activities. Moreover, while Homestart® is not in itself a complete homeschooling program, many home schoolers have found that Homestart® activities fit perfectly as a key component of their own home schooling program.
